Triple Steps: North America

The United States is just one country in North America, and my bucket list extends further.  Canada is our northern neighbor and was my Grandmother’s stomping grounds. They also have much diversity of geography and culture, from bustling cities to frozen and uninhabitable territories in the far north. It stretches from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and extends from the U.S. border on the south to the Arctic Ocean in the north.  I want to explore so much more of it. then there is Mexico, our southern neighbor.  I have been there a couple times and would like to go again, though care is needed due to safety factors.  But it is a beautiful country with sleepy, slow-paced villages and huge sprawling cities. The language is beautiful and people are generous. Perhaps there will be opportunity to explore there as well. I call North America Triple Steps because it is more than just a little jaunt to these other countries, takes more planning and time to visit, yet are still mostly reachable by car, unlike overseas jet-setting. There are several other smaller countries below Mexico included in our continent, and Greenland is considered part of North America too.  Now THAT is definitely on MY bucket list! As I have opportunity to explore beyond my own country’s borders, I will share it with you here.  Happy Trails!
