Double Steps: United States

The United States of America is an expansive country with all kinds of scenery, topography, people, customs and accents.  Bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, with Canada to the north and Mexico to the south, this great country contains much to see and do. From the west coast to the east, there are multiple mountain ranges running north and south, and a vast flatland in the middle that used to be the home of huge herds of prairie bison and the Indian Tribes that hunted and lived among them. There are unique land formations throughout the country, such as the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Mohave Desert in southeastern California, the Florida Everglades, Arches National Park in Utah, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Crater Lake in Washington,  Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho, and so much more.  So much to explore! And that is just on the mainland.  Alaska and Hawaii offer even more.  We have not explored it all, but it is all on my bucket list.  As we go beyond the sights on our doorstep, and step further along America’s routes and roads, I will share it with you here. Enjoy!
